Crew

10.1 All registered Crew must hold a valid MA Crew Licence which is current for the duration of the event.

    Senior National, Annual Crew and One Event Crew Licences are accepted as licencing for Crew

    members. One Event Crew Licences can be purchased through RiderNet. Members must be 16

    years or over to hold a valid Crew Licence.

10.2 Each competitor is entitled to 2 pit crew passes as part of their entry. To have pit crew passes

    provided at competitor registration, competitors must have provided their licenced pit crew’s

    details including, full name, address and contact phone number through the online entry process.

10.3 Crew passes entitle the holder to entry into the motorcycle pit areas, Scrutineering, Prologue Day,

    Race Days 1 and 2 and Presentation Night and camping within the Aputula Land Trust (Finke

    campgrounds) at Finke.

10.4 Additional Pit Crew Passes are available at a cost of $110 each.



Gear

GEAR (OTHER THAN FUEL) TRANSPORT SERVICE

13.1 The gear transport service may be purchased from the Organiser for the additional cost of $70.

13.2 The Organiser will arrange for gear as described below to be transported to:

1. Fuel Stop 1 –Minimal spares e.g. goggles, tubes, sparkplugs, etc.

2. Fuel Stop 2 –Minimal spares e.g. goggles, tubes, sparkplugs, etc.

3. Fuel Stop 3 – Minimal spares e.g. goggles, tubes, sparkplugs, etc.

4. Finke checkpoint – Minimal (at the discretion of the transporter) swag/tent, spares and

personal effects.

13.3 The location for gear drop off will be at the Start Finish Line, South Stuart Hwy adjacent to the

registration centre. Times of gear drop off and collection will be confirmed closer to the event.

13.4 All items for transport must be labelled with your rider number. Organisers will carry nominated

spares to all four points for competitors, if required. Whilst the Organisers will make every effort

to secure gear left for transportation, no responsibility will be taken and no insurance is offered for

loss or damage to said gear.



FUEL - FOUR STROKE

14.2 FOUR STROKE - $275.00 per rider, includes fuel at all points, with refueling stops manned by

    volunteers. Whilst every effort will be made to complete refueling in a timely manner, the Organiser

    takes no responsibility for delays. Competitors will be refueled on a first come, first served basis.

Fuel will be provided at the following points:

1. Fuel Stop 1 (62 kms from Alice Springs Start/Finish Line) – both days

2. Fuel Stop 2 (115 kms from Alice Springs Start/Finish Line) – both days

3. Fuel Stop 3 (169 kms from Alice Springs Start/Finish Line) – both days

4. Finke Checkpoint (223 kms from Alice Springs Start/Finish Line) – Race Day 1

14.3 No personal four stroke fuel containers will be carried. Fee is set at a standard rate and will not be

    adjusted. No refund will be given if competitor fails to make refueling points.



FUEL - TWO STROKE

14.4 TWO STROKE - $70.00 per competitor. Fuel is provided by rider and will be transported to fuel

    stops if dropped off at the Start/ Finish Line, South Stuart Hwy adjacent to the registration centre.

    Times of fuel (and gear) drop off and collection will be confirmed closer to the event and listed in

    the official Competitor Information Booklet.

14.5 All two stroke fuel cans must be clearly marked with your rider number. Fuel must be stored in

    standard 20 litre “jerry cans”. No other containers will be carried.

14.6 The Organiser will arrange for transport of two-stroke fuel to be delivered to Fuel Stops 1, 2, 3 and

    Finke Checkpoint, if required. These fuel stops are marked by signs, Fuel Stop 1, Fuel Stop 2, Fuel

    Stop 3 and Finke. All competitors / crew of two-stroke motorcycles are responsible for refueling

    their own motorcycles. Whilst the Organisers will make every effort to secure fuel left for

    transportation, no responsibility will be taken and no insurance is offered for loss or damage to

    said fuel.
